Action! YouTube Quality Question

#1
Here are my current settings using Action! (my screen recorder):

Here is the quality of a video that results:

Before I've uploaded the video to YouTube, the quality and FPS are perfect - exactly as I'd like them. Upon uploading them to YouTube however, the quality of the video is skewered (although notably the FPS is not). I have Sony Vegas Pro, but I usually use Windows Movie Maker to edit (I have in the case of this video). I have not rendered it, etc. If there was a way using these programs, settings I could adjust to increase the quality of the final product video, what would I want to do?

Thanks!

A 3 second video isn't going to show very much. I played your video and the quality was just fine for me on a 1080p monitor, both at 480p and 720p60. I would recommend uploading a longer video (ie 30 - 60 seconds). I don't use Action myself (as I use Shadowplay directly) and I'm not sure if there's any members here on the forum that use Action either, but your video upload seems to be just fine and shows no issues like you describe.

Have you tried setting Action to record into AVI. That may improve the quality, it's because I see you are using the NVIDIA codec.

I haven't tried doing this, or swapping my codec, but I'd be more than happy to experiment with this. Is there by default a best setup for YouTube?
Thank you for the suggestion!

I will put screen shots of my Mirillis Action! settings and put them in a spoiler here and you can then copy them to see if I works for you.

On the last screenshot it says AMD APP, thats because I have an AMD GPU. So yours will possibly be different.
